Changing funnel shape

We can change the shape of the tube. Widening the mouth of the tube increases the entropy of the driver when the piston is towards the right, thus slightly increasing the effective force exerted by the driver.

The variance of the piston position is sufficiently large in all these animations that it is hard, in an animation, to perceive systematic differences in work done. Histograms coming later confirm that the differences are as theoretically predicted by equilibrium thermodynamics.
