Tilt sensor
I promised to send technical information, and I've now attached a .java file
that is written in java microedition that interfaces between a Motorola
i95cl phone and an Analog Devices ADXL202EB-232 board. I connect the two
together, load the software on the phone, and read tilts from the ADXL
board.

Palm tilt sensor
Till Harbaum has written a driver library for a tilt sensor that plugs onto the hot sync port of most Palm devices. The source code is available at http://www.harbaum.org/till/palm/adxl202/index.html.
Developers can get free samples of the tilt sensor by visiting www.analog.com/imems
and selecting 'order samples'. The part currently best suited for the application is the adxl202e. I believe you have to 'register' and give some brief description of the application to get the free samples.
