Robotic Snake

In the spring of 2003, I built a robotic snake for Rodney Brooks' graduate seminar, 6.836. More information is on this page.

Robotic Billiards

As the final project in 6.111, Matt Gaetke and I built a pool-playing robot out of discrete logic, including it's own processor and machine language. More information is here.

NASA Distributed Supercomputer Project

From 1996 to 1998, I was involved in the Distributed Supercomputer Project at Johnson Space Center. The central aim was to harness the more than 14,000 heterogenous computers around the center to incorporate into what is now called a "grid." The basic idea was formulated by Ken Jenks and myself and we proposed the project originally to be funded by the Center Director's Discretionary Fund.
