O'flow

Imagine taking a large jug of water and dropping pebbles into it one by one. What happens? For a long time, you think you are going to run out of pebbles; then eventually you get a wet carpet. And O'flow (also known as Overflow, the GB Masters team) is a bit like that.

Drawing on the talents of squads from across Great Britain, we have assembled an unsurpassed Masters squad; unsurpassed, because we haven't played any other Masters teams. To give us a chance of surviving to the end of the week, we have welcomed on board a troop of outstanding international players who were coming to Worlds anyway to help members of Lady Godiva, Women on the Verge and Red Fish Blue Fish with their horizontal jogging.

We aim to learn to play ultimate together, play hard, and have a lot of fun.

Overflow

ooh... empty...
aye... and one for yourself.
can see it now that rich cool liquid erupting crashing to the bottom.
golden red and creamy as you like rising like a metaphor whisps and curls,
bubbles and the clarity.
then rest...
pour again layer on layer of tubulance reaching the rim, lips smaking where
thist meets passion, cascading of the tense fingers of experience...
british real ale... overflowing

Dare I suggest an alternative, heavily plagiarising David's suggestion. It's shorter (closer to the 100 word target), and avoids any horizontal jogging references (these people are trained athletes, David - they wouldn't be doing anything perverse like that, surely :-) Also, this avoids spending a week trying to field queries about what the pebbles were doing on the carpet in the first place. :-) What do you reckon?

Imagine a cool beer being poured on a hot summer day. You fill the glass but just can't stop. You can't have too much of a good thing. We are the Overflow.

Drawing on the talents of squads from across Great Britain, we have assembled an unsurpassed Masters squad; unsurpassed, that is, because we haven't played any other Masters teams. To give us a chance of surviving the week, we have welcomed on board a troop of outstanding international players who were coming to Worlds anyway, just to be there.

We got it together (just!), and our target is to play hard, enjoy the spirit, and have a lot of fun.
