Dear Ian

If we go early on fridy by train then there are restrictions on
travel from paddington.
We can only travel on a cheap ticket 
if (a) we travel from padd before 4pm or after 7.07pm
OR
(b) we book in advance (super advance ticket, costs 45 pounds)
and travel on specified trains in both directions.

train times on friday are:
padd: 1635 1733 1742 1835 1848 1935
ex:   1908 1941 2018 2041 2124 2205

I am inclined to aim for the 1935 train so as to keep flexibility for
the sunday return, but if you would like to go earlier we can get
the advance tickets.

     *         ***

the ones marked with * are both a bit faster because they
dont go via bristol.

these are direct trains ; there may be other trains 
involving a change of train too
